Governing Law

Leisure Marine Association Middle East North Africa (LMA) has established the following Terms and Conditions for visiting this website / mobile app in accordance with its, Law, Rules and Regulations as well as UAE laws. If a person breaches these Terms and Conditions, LMA reserves the right to use the law to protect its infrastructure and information. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute in this connection.

Website Content and Downloads Terms of Use

The following are terms of a legal agreement between you and Leisure Marine Association Middle East North Africa (LMA). They apply to the LMA website located at www.leisuremarinemena.com, (collectively, the “Site”), excluding third-party websites.

By accessing, browsing, downloading, and/or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site.

Nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring by implication, obstruction or otherwise any license or right under any copyrights, patents, trademarks or any other intellectual property of the LMA or any third-party. Except as expressly provided herein nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring any license or right under any copyright of the LMA.

LMA assumes no responsibility regarding the accuracy of the information that we provide; use of such information is at your own risk. Information may be changed or updated without notice. LMA may also make improvements and/or changes in the programs described in this information at any time without notice.

Submitting Information or Material

We do not want to receive confidential or proprietary information from you through the Site. Except under the terms of a direct contractual agreement, any information or material sent to LMA will be deemed NOT to be confidential.

Should any viewer of a document published by LMA respond with information including feedback data, such as questions, comments, suggestions, or the like regarding the content of any such document, such information shall be deemed NOT to be confidential and LMA shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such information.

By sending LMA any information or material, you grant an unrestricted, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute those materials or information without limitation, and you also agree that LMA is free to disclose and use any ideas, that you send us for any purpose whatsoever including but not limited to developing and marketing products and services incorporating such information. LMA links to independent, third-party information considered relevant and valuable to our audience. The views and opinions expressed there do not necessarily reflect the views of LMA its members or its sponsors.

LMA makes no representations whatsoever about any other website, which you may access through this one. When you access a third-party website, even one that may contain LMA logo, please understand that it is independent from LMA and that LMA has no control over the content on that website. In addition, a link to a third-party website does not mean that LMA endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content, or the use, of such website. It is up to you to take precautions to ensure that whatever you select for your use is free of such items as viruses, malware, and other items of a destructive nature.

Any publication of LMA may include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes may be periodically made to these publications; these changes will be incorporated in new editions of these publications. LMA may make improvements and/or changes at any time without notice.

Linking to The Site

All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork and computer code (collectively, “Content”), including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, “look and feel” and arrangement of such Content, contained on the Site is owned, controlled or licensed by or to LMA and is protected by trademark laws, and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws.

A website that links to the Site:

  • May link to but not replicate LMA Content,
  • Should not create a browser or border environment around LMA Content,
  • Should not imply that LMA is endorsing it or its products,
  • Should not misrepresent its relationship with LMA,
  • Should not present false information about LMA products or services,
  • Should not use LMA logo without permission,
  • Should not contain content that could be construed as distasteful, offensive or controversial, and should contain only content that is appropriate for all age groups.

LMA may at any time revise these terms by updating this posting. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to determine the then current terms by which you are bound.

Logo Usage

The Logos are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of LMA. The Logos may be used only by LMA members in good standing (this implies that member adheres to LMA ethics policy, code of conduct and has not been voted out of the membership by the LMA Board), or organizations with prior permission of LMA if and only if such use is made pursuant to the terms and conditions of this limited and revocable license. Any failure by a member to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein may result in the immediate revocation of this license. 

Use of the Logos shall create no rights for members in or to the Logos or their use beyond the terms and conditions of this limited and revocable license. 

The Logos may not be revised or altered in any way, and must be displayed in the same form as produced by LMA. LMA members are permitted to display the Logos on their website, exhibition stand, flyers, and/or company showroom.

Membership Terms

Upon mutual acceptance of the Terms and Conditions herein, LMA enters into a Membership Agreement with you, as the Member.

  • Membership Agreement: The Agreement executed by LMA and the Member through which the Member becomes a member of LMA. The Membership Agreement shall automatically renew upon each anniversary date.
  • Member: The company or organization that has joined LMA in order to participate in the LMA’s activities through execution of the Membership Agreement.
  • LMA has the right to announce publicly and/or promote the Member’s admission on LMA’s ‘Site’, publications, and social media accounts. The Member hereby understand and agree that Member’s logo shall be listed or used by LMA for promotion. The Member hereby agree that data shall be shared.
  • The Member hereby agree to be bound by the Articles of Association and /or by-laws, and by any amendments made thereto, and to pay any annual subscription fees, or levies as LMA shall from time to time determine.
  • The Member hereby agree to support the aims and objectives of LMA and confirm to abide by its rules, obligations, and Code of Practice. The Member understand that a breach of the rules, obligations or Code of Practice may result in expulsion from LMA.
  • Members are allowed to carry the LMA Logo and promote the fact that they are a member in the course of their business.
The Membership Agreement may be terminated:
  • By either party giving to the other sixty (60) days notice in writing before any anniversary of the date hereof.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, termination of the Membership Agreement for any reason shall not entitle the member to any refund of the annual fee paid, and any undue invoice shall be due and payable.
  • As per the Articles of Association for violation of the ethics policy, code of conduct, breach of trust, fraud, and expulsion in accordance with a decision of the members in the General Assembly. 
  • For habitual avoidance or/and nonpayment of LMA annual member fees.
Terms & Conditions Modifications

LMA reserves the right to modify and amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version of the Terms and Conditions will be always published on LMA`s website and online platforms where applicable.
